This is the first publication in a series intended to glorify God through the sharing of testimonies from His children.

The Bible has many stories of the spectacular and amazing things God did for those who believed in Him. God is a powerful God. He is well able to do more than we can ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20) I have heard some people say that God does not perform the miraculous anymore; that He just doesn't work that way. I respectfully disagree. I have seen The Lord work in amazing ways in my life and in the lives of other Christians. So to encourage the body of Christ and bring glory to our Father in Heaven, I asked some friends for their testimonies of what The Lord has done for them. I compiled their testimonies in this first edition series "The Day of Miracles is Not Over." The testimonies are unaltered, and have been published just the way I received them.
In my opinion there just aren't enough people testifying of the good things God has done for them. People need to hear that God is still working. When I was a baby in Christ, one thing that was extremely encouraging to me were the testimonies I heard from other people. They kept me going through the confusing times and the times when it was hard to trust in God. We should shout what The Lord has done for us from the rooftops. After all this is God being God in our lives. It doesn't matter if our testimony doesn't seem as impressive as the next person's; no testimony is too small if it testifies about God working in our lives. No act of God is too small to bring Him glory. Your testimony might even be the very thing someone needs to hear to get them through their time of trouble. So if you have a testimony of what The Lord Jesus Christ has done for you or someone you know, and would like to include it in the next edition, please submit it via the web site's contact page. Please indicate whether you wish to remain anonymous or if you wish to publish your name with your testimony. By default the full first name and the first letter of the last name are used unless the author states otherwise.
Please read these testimonies knowing that if God would do these things for someone else, He would do them for you to. He loves you, He cares for you, and He wants you to live the abundant life He intends for His children.
"Few years ago our daughter Heather hurt her foot while playing outside,so we took her to the emergency room at the local hospital here. The doctor on call took x-rays of her foot and came back to tell us she had broken her foot and showed us exactly where the break was on the x-rays,there was about an inch long crack right in the arch area of her foot.He asked us to bring her back to the hospital the next day so the surgeon could put a cast on it but in the meantime he had placed a temporary cast on her leg up to the knee and sent her home medicated and on crutches, saying the surgeons office would contact us in the morning. The following morning the surgeons office had called telling us to bring her up at noon so they could place a permenent cast on her foot they had talked to the doctor on call and seen the x-rays.At 10 that morning as i woke her up she was in tremendous pain had a hard time even placing her leg over the side of the bed,we brought her downstairs got her ready to go to the hospital and gave her pain meds and placed her on the sofa till was time to go..There were many people who had been praying for her and before we left I had been talking to my mom on the phone and we were talking bout the Lord and His Healing:) I went to get Heather from the couch for it was time to go and she says mom I can walk it doesnt really hurt now.But we as her parents were still very cautious and are trying to help her walk with her crutches telling her stay off that foot. And we get her to the hospital and we were escorted into a room where the surgeon was waiting for her with all the casting equipment there along with the nurse to put on a permanent cast. But the Surgeon look at my husband and me and He shook his head saying I dont know what to say but there is not a break on her foot anymore ,I said yes there is I saw it we all looked at it,He said yes I know but its not there now the X-ray is clean and he is moving her foot around as he is talking. He said I dont know what to say call it a miracle whatever you want but she doesnt need a cast its healed! That day we witnessed two miracles one that my daughters foot was healed and secondly that God went so far as to even touch the x-rays:)"

"A severe flu was going around. A few ladies and myself from our church went bowling...I had a hotdog and a coke and just a few minutes became violently ill...I was in the bathroom for the rest of the time vomiting over and over...We started for home and I couldn't go very far without them having to stop the car to let me be sick. When I got home, I collapsed on the couch, could go no further, and anytime I moved my head I got sick again. My son who was about 12 at the time, came home from school and asked what was wrong and even when I turned my head toward him to tell him, I was violently ill again. He wanted to pray for me and I agreed. I was instantly healed...got up and it was time to fix dinner for my husband soon to come home. I looked in the fridge and all we had were hotdogs. I not only cooked them but also ate them with not one twinge of nausea...in fact, that illness never came back."

"The year was 1985. My nephew was 2 years old at the time. My two sisters were coming out of the shopping mart and heading to the car. My nephew was sitting in the child seat part of the shopping cart and fell out with my sister not able to reach him immediately. He was headed for the pavement, but as my sister reached to catch him, he was suspended safely in air until she got to him and caught him safely. They said an angel was with them and protected my nephew by holding him up until his mother could reach him. They did not physicaly see the angel with their eyes, but witnessed that surely an angel of The Lord kept him.
'He gives His angels charge over you to keep you in all of your ways.'"

"I stopped smoking in 1977 and one week later a sore place came on my tongue...it didn't go away after several weeks, so I went to an ear, nose, throat specilist that I had scrubbed with for awhile.... He looked in my mouth and delared it cancerous but said he would send it for diagnosis on the day of my surgery which was scheduled right away. He didn't want to wait any longer to deal with it. On Weds. nite before my surgery that was scheduled for a Monday, I decided to ask for prayer and went up to our assistant pastor and asked him to anoint me with oil and pray. Over the course of a day or so that sore disappeared and I was able to cancel the surgery on Monday. The place never returned. My husband had had another cancer on his tongue before me which this doc had operated on. When he saw mine, he said, 'What are you guys doing, passing this thing back and forth.' I know one thing....God healed me totally in October,1977."

"As an Executive Assistant to a president, I also supported three remote Execs in the Northeast U.S. Supporting offsite Execs involves a lot of e-mails, faxes, overnight packages, and detailed phone coversations. I developed a rapport with them and especially one inparticular in Chicago. We had a type of father/daughter relationship. His sister was going through the worst time of her life and had one the rarest kinds of cancer. She had to leave her job as her health got worse and it seemed her entire life was on the decline with not a lot of hope in sight. This was during 2000 - 2001. I was praying for her (along with her family and friends) and sending healing books and encouraging words.
The company was sold and my offsite Exec and I were both "downsized" in the process. We have kept in touch through e-mail. Several months ago he gave me a report that his sister is completely healed of cancer and back working and enjoying life again. All glory to God. This was big.. huge... and amazing to me. To God be the glory for the things He has done. He healed this woman of cancer, and I'm sure many more wonderful things in her life that I don't have the details on. The Lord is our healer and so much more."

"I have watched this happen many times. A long line of strong thunderstorms was coming our way. High winds, heavy rains, hail, possible tornadoes; these storms had it all. I prayed declaring God's protection over us and over this area. I would often track the storms online via radar. As I watch the storms approach, just before reaching us, a portion of the storm would weaken while the rest remained the same or grew in intensity. I continued to watch as the storm split into two parts. The northern part passed us to the north, and the southern part passed us to the south. We were untouched by the storm and no damage occurred in our area unlike some of the surrounding areas which had sustained moderate damage."

"My name is Zechariah John Kelley Brewer, Jr., and I am a sophomore majoring in Business Administration. Ours was a church family: my mother always nurtured my musical talents and my father founded my prayer life. When I was fifteen, I gave my life to Christ. Although our church had hymn books, liturgy and one-hour services, we had some spice every year at the Texas Christian Ashram.
One of the best things God has done for me is when He healed me of asthma. I started using an inhaler when I was in tenth grade, due to occasional breathing problems. Within a year, I was put on daily medications, with increased dosages over the next few years.
Earlier this semester, after deciding to cope with asthma, my thinking changed. I went to the Chi Alpha Prayer Meeting after work and asked Nick to pray for healing. He gathered a few other believers to lay hands on me and pray over me. The next morning when I went running, my lungs were untouched. From that point on, I walked around breathing more freely than I had in many years. I had told God, "I know You healed many, and I want to believe. I want to be healed," And that was when my prayer was answered."
