STATEMENT OF FAITH - PASSAGES
2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful
for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and
the earth.
Matthew 28:19 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
John 10:30 - I and the Father are one.
Revelation 21:3-4 - And I heard a loud voice from the throne
saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They
will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will
wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or
crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
Matthew 13:49-50 - This is how it will be at the end of the
age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw
them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Genesis 3 - Link
Romans 3:23-24 - for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that
came by Christ Jesus.
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Matthew 1:23 - "The virgin will be with child and will give
birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" --which means, "God with us."
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one
and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
life.
Luke 9:22 - And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things
and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he
must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."
1 Peter 1:3 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
Romans 10:9-10 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus
is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will
be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and
it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Matthew 8:16 - When evening came, many who were demon-possessed
were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all
the sick.
Matthew 14:13-21 - When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew
by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed
him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had
compassion on them and healed their sick. As evening approached, the disciples
came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late.
Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some
food." Jesus replied, "They do not need to go away. You give them something
to eat." "We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered.
"Bring them here to me," he said. And he directed the people to sit down on
the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven,
he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and
the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and
the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Matthew 14:22-27 - Immediately Jesus made the disciples get
into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the
crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself
to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, but the boat was already a considerable
distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. During
the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When
the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost,"
they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take
courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
Acts 1:9-10 - After he said this, he was taken up before their
very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently
up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood
beside them.
Matthew 24:36-39 - No one knows about that day or hour, not
even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the
days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days
before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,
up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen
until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming
of the Son of Man.
Revelation 20:5-6 - (The rest of the dead did not come to life
until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed
and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death
has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will
reign with him for a thousand years.
Matthew 25:31-46 - "When the Son of Man comes in his glory,
and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All
the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one
from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the
sheep on his right and the goats on his left. "Then the King will say to those
on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance,
the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry
and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to
drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed
me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry
and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you
a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we
see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell
you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me.' "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you
who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave
me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed
clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not
look after me.' "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or
thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help
you?' "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one
of the least of these, you did not do for me.' "Then they will go away to eternal
punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
Genesis 3:14-15 - So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because
you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild
animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of
your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your
offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."
John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
1 Peter 5:8 - Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the
devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
John 16:7 - But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that
I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if
I go, I will send him to you.
John 14:26 - But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father
will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything
I have said to you.
Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit
comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Galatians 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ and I no
longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Acts 8:14-17 - When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria
had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived,
they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy
Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into
the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them,
and they received the Holy Spirit.
Luke 8:43-48 - As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed
him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years,
but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his
cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. "Who touched me?" Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing
against you." But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone
out from me." Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling
and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had
touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, "Daughter,
your faith has healed you. Go in peace."
Acts 4:8 - Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to
them: "Rulers and elders of the people!
Acts 13:52 - And the disciples were filled with joy and with
the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18 - Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery.
Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:1-11 - Now about spiritual gifts, brothers,
I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, somehow
or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I tell
you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed,"
and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. There are different
kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but
the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works
all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given
for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of
wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to
another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing
between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still
another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the
same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
1 Corinthians 12:27-31 - Now you are the body of Christ, and
each one of you is a part of it. And in the church God has appointed first of
all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also
those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of
administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles?
Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts
of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But eagerly desire the
greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 - The coming of the lawless one will
be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit
miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who
are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be
saved.
Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of

in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm
you.
Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of
this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Matthew 18:18-20 - "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind
on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed
in heaven. "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything
you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or
three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Matthew 12:29 - Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's
house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man?

John 16:13 - But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will
guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what
he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Hebrews 4:14-16 - Therefore, since we have a great high priest
who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to
the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize
with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just
as we are--yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with
confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time
of need.
John 10:27 - My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and
they follow me.

in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Hosea 4:6 - my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
Ephesians 4:11-13 - It was he who gave some to be apostles,
some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may
be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the
Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness
of Christ.
Ephesians 2:4-5 - But because of his great love for us, God,
who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it
is by grace you have been saved.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one
and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
life.
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:39 - neither height nor depth, nor anything else in
all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
Luke 23:32-34 - Two other men, both criminals, were also led
out with him to be executed. When they came to the place called the Skull, there
they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on
his left. Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they
are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
Malachi 3:6 - I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants
of Jacob, are not destroyed.
